As the federal government shutdown continues, CASL clients who are eligible for SNAP may experience delays in receiving their benefits. CASL will continue processing SNAP applications throughout the shutdown.

In addition, we’d also like to share Chicago Food Access and Mutual Aid resources available near Chinatown, Bridgeport, and the surrounding area. Please call these organizations ahead of time to verify their hours and food availability. All information is subject to change without notice.
