This free, in-person informational workshop will cover the basics of advance directives and estate planning in Illinois, as well as the importance of being prepared. Volunteer attorney Valerie Chu will discuss associated legal documents, including:

• Power of Attorney for Healthcare
• Power of Attorney for Property
• Living Will
• Last Will
• Transfer on Death Instrument
• Trust

The CASL Legal Service Program will offer direct legal services to eligible clients for power of attorney, living will, and TODI during the afternoon clinic.
