Heidi Heimberg is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with an Associate’s in Applied Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant (A.A.S.) from Fox College in Tinley Park. Her background working in childcare for 3 years fostered her interest in working with children and their families. Her motivation to join the field of Occupational Therapy stems from the desire to provide a holistic approach within healthcare. Individuality deserves to be advocated, represented, and empowered!
In her work, Heidi supports children through sensory processing, fine and gross motor development, sequencing and following directions, balance, strength and coordination, emotional regulation, and social-emotional learning. She also partners with parents, offering education and guidance tailored to both Early Intervention (ages 0–3) and ABS clients (ages 3–22).
In her free time, Heidi enjoys running, listening to music, and drawing.
