As a community-based nonprofit with over 45 years of experience, we connect individuals and families with the support they need.
We lay a strong foundation for children through education and culture. We help older adults live independently with dignity. We prepare people for tomorrow’s workforce. We guide immigrants toward citizenship. We support housing and financial stability. We connect people to healthcare and wellness resources. And we advocate for equal access to justice.
New Community Hub: Connecting Lives, Building Community
A transformative redevelopment project is taking shape at a 5.3-acre riverfront site at 3000 S. Pitney Court in Chicago, thanks to the generous support of the Sue Ling Gin Foundation. Led by CASL, this initiative seeks to:
- Create an accessible riverfront resource with green spaces and outdoor recreational area.
- Establish a welcoming environment for all backgrounds to connect and thrive.
- Identify and implement impactful programs based on research and community input to address the most pressing needs.
This Second CASL Campus and Community Hub aspires to serve Chicago’s diverse population, creating opportunities for connection and growth while shaping a brighter future for all. CASL is committed to engaging with the community throughout the development process to ensure the center delivers meaningful and lasting benefits.
