CASL’s Family Advocacy Unit provides free, confidential support for individuals and families experiencing domestic violence and youth mental health struggles. Our services are designed to meet survivors and families where they are, with a focus on safety, empowerment, and healing. We work in partnership with Apna Ghar.

What We Offer
For Families and Individuals:
- Domestic violence screening
- Safety planning
- Case management and advocacy
- Trauma-informed therapy services
For Children and Youth:
- Counseling for youth and young adults (ages 10–24) coping with crisis or family conflict
- Family counseling and school advocacy
- Referrals to ongoing Behavioral Health services
Cost and Coverage
- Family Advocacy provides up to 8 free sessions for eligible clients, including survivors of domestic violence and youth in need of mental health support
- After the initial sessions, clients may be referred to Behavioral Health services, where Medicaid, insurance, or a sliding-scale fee may apply
- Youth mental health services do not require parental consent for the free sessions
