Impact & Advocacy

Working to create positive change through data insights, advocacy, and policy.

Building Understanding Through Data Insights and Advocacy

We’re here to do more than respond—we organize for change. The Impact & Advocacy Department at CASL leads work that turns data into decisions, stories into strategies, and insight into impact. Whether supporting survivors of hate, driving policy that makes our future more just, or partnering with community-based allies across the country, we work to ensure that the communities we serve are valued.

Who We Are, What Drives Us, and What Progress Looks Like

Who We Are

We are strategists, connectors, and advocates working at the intersection of community experience, data, and policy reform.

Our work is rooted in care and built to improve the communities that we serve.

What Drives Us

  • Data-Informed–We collect, disaggregate, and analyze data then activate insights to drive solutions.
  • Action–We engage with the community to bring positive change.
  • Advocacy–We influence policy at all levels.

What Progress Looks Like

  • Data informs policy and wins funding
  • Our communities are supported and receive services
  • Partnerships drive collective action
  • Communities shape systems that serve them
