Bingyi Mei

Bingyi’s journey in education is rooted in her love for children and the joy of watching them grow, explore and gain confidence. As a former CASL Head Start parent, she experienced the importance of strong family partnerships firsthand, which inspired her to join the CASL team in 2022 as a paraprofessional.

She brings experience from Chicago daycare classrooms and over six years as a middle school lead teacher in China. Today, she proudly supports children in the while continuing her studies in Early Childhood Education with an ESL/Bilingual Endorsement. She believes young children learn best when they feel safe, supported and celebrated every day.

Outside the classroom, Bingyi enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the park, exercising, listening to music, shopping and relaxing with a good movie- activities that help her recharge and bring positive energy to her work with children and families.
