Fareine Suarez

Fareine Suarez is CASL’s Director of Marketing and Communications. She is a high-impact, results-driven leader with over 15 years of experience in marketing, digital content production, strategic operations, and management. Her career spans across the nonprofit and higher education sectors, with previous roles at the University of Virginia, the University of Chicago, and most recently, as the head of Undergraduate Admissions at Illinois Tech. Fareine is passionate about partnering with organizations that foster inclusive communities and champion diversity in STEM, business, and media.

A creative strategist at heart, she brings a unique blend of vision and execution to every initiative she leads. The daughter of first- generation immigrants from the Philippines, Fareine grew up moving across six states while her father served in the U.S. Navy. She has called Chicago home since 2014. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, playing board games, and spending quality time with her husband, daughter, and dog Mango.
