Steven Yaung

Steven Yaung is a consumer and retail executive and transformation leader with more than three decades of experience across the United States and Asia. He is the Founder of Dragonback Partners, a cross-border advisory platform helping companies, investors, and leadership teams bridge opportunities between Asia and the U.S. His experience includes senior leadership roles at AS Watson, The Body Shop, and The Honest Company, where he led multi-country businesses focused on growth, operational improvement, and organizational transformation.

Steven has been a member of YPO since 2011, where he has built long-standing relationships with global business leaders and remained active in peer learning, leadership exchange, and cross-border networks.

As a CASL Board Director, Steven brings a practical operator’s perspective, deep cross-cultural experience, and a strong commitment to helping families and communities thrive. He is especially interested in supporting CASL’s work in youth development, family well-being, workforce readiness, and culturally rooted education.
Based in Chicago with his family, Steven is committed to contributing to the Asian American community and supporting institutions that create stronger pathways for the next generation.
