Melody Legge is CASL’s Director of Human Resources and Chair of the Culture Committee. She brings more than 15 years of experience in human resources, talent acquisition, leadership development, and people strategy across nonprofit and corporate environments.
Believing the strongest organizations are built by balancing a human-centered approach with strategic business thinking, Melody is passionate about creating workplace cultures grounded in trust, accountability, continuous improvement, and meaningful leadership. She partners with leaders across CASL to develop talent, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and create an employee experience that reflects the organization’s mission and values.

As Chair of the Culture Committee, Melody champions initiatives that foster connection, engagement, and belonging while helping shape CASL’s culture for the future.

Outside of work, Melody enjoys exploring Chicago, eating good food, reading a good book, taking sunrise walks along Lake Michigan with her Papillon, Alba, and antiquing with her husband, Kurt. Whenever possible, she also enjoys spending time at their home in Inverness, Scotland. She is deeply committed to advocating for older adults, a passion shaped by her love for and experience caring for her mum, and believes everyone deserves to age with dignity, compassion, and respect. As Albert Einstein said, “Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.”
